VHMS Dance Team performed at the Rose Bowl

The members of our dance team were invited by the United Spirit Association after participating in dance camp this summer to perform in the UCLA halftime show this past Saturday, September 7, 2019.

16 of our dancers all arrived at 7:45 am at the Rose Bowl where they rehearsed with about 250 other dancers and cheerleaders from all over California. They practiced in the hot sun from 8:30 am -11:30 am showing dignity, respect and pride making us proud representing our school. When it was game time, they all walked over to the field and watch the first half of the game! Half time came and the girls were called down to the field and performed beautifully with thousands of fans watching! Although the Bruins lost to the SDSU Aztecs we created so many memories and our dancers loved to watch the professionalism of each college and their dance teams! Mrs. Costantino is so proud to be their coach and teacher! Go Wildcats!
