Join the MVUSD Mariachi Band!

We are thrilled to launch our new Mariachi Program in partnership with the Riverside Arts Academy, bringing culturally rich and musically rigorous opportunities to our middle school students. This free program, funded through Expanded Learning Opportunities (ELOP), beautifully complements our existing Ballet Folklórico programs, allowing students to celebrate Mexican culture through both music and dance. As the program develops, we’re excited to expand to more grade levels and continue creating inclusive, inspiring spaces for artistic expression.

Students will learn to play traditional mariachi instruments like violin, trumpet, guitar, vihuela, guitarrón, and develop your voice with professional instruction.

Schedule: Classes will meet twice a week after school.

Who: Open to MVUSD middle school students and 6th grade students at elementary schools!
